What we are
A tailoring tool, not a CV builder
CV Tailor is a web product that takes the CV you already have and the job you're applying to, and produces a version of your CV (and a cover letter) rewritten around that specific posting: the same experience, reordered and reworded to speak to what the listing actually asks for.
It is not a template gallery and not a generic "AI resume writer" that invents a career you didn't have. Every fact in the output traces back to something you provided; the fit score and gap analysis tell you, before you apply, where the match is strong and where it isn't.
Why we exist
Most CVs are written once and sent everywhere
A single CV, unchanged from one application to the next, answers the average job posting rather than the one in front of a hiring manager. Reading a listing carefully and rewriting a CV around it every single time is the right way to apply - and the reason almost nobody does it consistently is that it's slow, repetitive work. CV Tailor exists to do that specific, repetitive work in minutes instead of hours, so tailoring stops being the step people skip.
